A bit more about The Award:
Buenos Muzik was founded with a key interest in supporting emerging musicians from Goa. Through the Awards, we aim to foster interest within Global Konkani Communities that produce Konkani Music. Additionally, we want to recognise singers from Goa who are creating Portuguese and English Music, which deserves global recognition. The fact that the founders of Buenos Muzik are internationally acclaimed personalities adds to this initiative's significance.

To enter in to contest, the song must have been released publicly between 2019 to till date, and should include an audio, video, or digital streaming link.

KEY POINTS OF THE AWARD

Record Deal

One of the awardees will receive a record deal, which includes full funding for music production and collaboration with Artists in the United States.

Music Promotion

All winning music and/or artists will be promoted on the Times Square Billboard in the USA and on selected Radio Stations. Your chance to perform in the USA, at Goan Events.

Cash Prize

$1500 USD includes an all-expenses-paid album deal and promotions, which may even include an international collaboration. The winner will be selected by lottery.

How winner will be picked

In addition to the standard category awards, this will be an extra bonus to take away on the day of the awards ceremony. The lottery will be drawn from a bowl on the day of the ceremony. Here’s how it works: if you apply for Best Song, Best Singer, Producer Award, or any other category, the name of the singer, duo, band, or group associated with that song will be added to the lottery bowl. This applies across all categories; only the name of the singer, duo, band, or group will be entered. Singers, duos, bands, or groups with multiple winning songs in various categories will have their names added more frequently, increasing their chances in the draw. At the end of the award announcements, a name will be drawn. The awardee must attend the ceremony or send a representative on their behalf to be eligible for the lottery. The award must be received by the awardee or someone closely associated with them and the category.

$1,500 USD will be awarded through a lottery draw for singers, duos, bands, or groups at the awards ceremony.
